Ethos

Feeding people is serious business. While farming practices have evolved to maximize profits and production, we make an extra effort to partner with quality farmers, who are as committed to their crop and our planet, as you are to your body

LOCAL SOURCING

We prepare our delicious dressings using ingredients from local farmers, who grow food in healthy soil. These agronomists, who constitute 51% of our countries population but contribute only 18% of GDP, are given their fair share of profit.

NO FUNNY STUFF

We strongly believe that preservatives, additives, colorings, and flavorings are not food. We promise that you’ll never find ingredients that you don’t recognize on our labels. Our ingredients list will always be as clean as that bill of health we’re all striving for

ORGANIC

Good food starts from good soil, and good soil is found in natural, uninterrupted ecosystems. We found them, curated them, visited them, and studied them, before sourcing and serving. Currently, 90% of our ingredients are certified organic. We read the fine print of food production so that you don’t have to.

NUTRITIOUS

Our founder has a Masters in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology and started the Arugula& Co. project to help consumers eat in harmony with their bodies. Our products are designed to be an everyday food on your path to better well-being.

SUSTAINABLE

We’re small, young, fierce, and rebellious. We always wanted to be a part of the solution, so we spent six months finding the most sustainable packaging, sourcing from the most sustainable sources, and selling in the most responsible ways. We’re building systems so that by merely purchasing our products, you’ve made the world a more sustainable place.

SCRATCH COOKING

We take pride in the fact that we cook everything in-house. We’ve worked hard to perfect recipes such as the organic homemade mustard, or the organic tahini, that we use as intermediates for our dressings. We’re as committed to what you put in your body, as you are.
